When Smartphone Robot Being Transformed - Japanese technology companies, Sharp, reportedly ready to launch a small robot which has a communication function like a smartphone with other features including receiving messages and calls.
Citing information from the pages of Engadget, Thursday (08/10/2015), a robot named Robohon has the look like a robot with a small size. Robohon which is a combination of the word robot and phone, also equipped with support for connectivity such as WiFi and LTE like a smartphone.
A robot that has a height of 8 inches or 20 centimeters is also equipped with a 2-inch screen on the back as well as cameras and projectors embedded in the face Robohon.
Robohon also has the ability to recognize people by face or voice, and can understand voice commands from users and provide feedback based on the voice commands.
In addition, Robohon also has capabilities such as walking, sitting, getting up, dancing, and held up his hands when there are things that must be reported to the user, such as an alarm or message.
Even so, Sharp still does not want to provide any other additional information, including the possibility of price and operating system used. However, Sharp revealed that Robohon will be released by the middle of next year.
